Evaluation & Comments: I thought it was interesting how they incorporated music into literature and made it into a book format for America the Beautiful. I could use this as a whole group class activity as we learn the song together. It would be a fun activity because little children love illustrations and color with books they can read aloud. Although it is not going to be with pencil and paper type of assignment, I would just give them a little cutout of the words with important pictures for them to keep and have a poster on the wall for learning purposes. Personally, I would not be comfortable singing the song alone, but once the students have the ability and memorized the song, I will most definitely sing along with them and help them out!
