Summary:
A family of three bears live in a forest. There is a giant sized papa bear, medium sized mama bear, and a tiny baby bear. All three bears have specially sized things for them in the house for each one of them. They all have sets of sizes Big, medium, small for necessities like bowls, chairs, and beds. One day, the bears decided they wanted to go on a walk to allow the porridge they are having for breakfast to cool down since it was way to hot! When they were gone, a random little girl comes by and raided their house. Goldilocks, the little girl, goes through everything in their house and tests to see if it is too hot/cold, too hard/soft, or just right. Throughout this process she ruined a lot of what the bears had set up for when they returned. The bears soon arrived back at their house and saw what had happened. They see Goldilocks in baby bear's bed and she woke up when she saw the bears staring at her in bed. She says she will never come to the forest again and the bears approved of what she said.

Evaluation & Comments:
I would love to use this book in my classroom. The illustrations were beautiful and colorful that I think my students would enjoy reading and listening to it during read aloud time. Goldilocks and the Three Bears had a great message of remembering to respect other people's privacy, not to invade other people's property, and keep in mind about your actions because they may hurt other people. I think it is really important for kids of all ages, but especially the younger students, to learn about these things. For my younger grade levels, I can use this book for English learners too because it has a lot of repetition. That way, all of my students can learn the English language if I read this book repeatedly from memorization of what the words sound like and putting it with the words in the book. 🙆
